The 18-year-old’s future at Stamford Bridge had been a constant source of speculation over the last few months but the teenager has now committed his future to the west London side by penning a new five-year contract.
News of Hudson-Odoi’s new deal until 2024 was confirmed last week as the west London side moved to tie the youngster down to a fresh contract.
And the England international has revealed his delight at having committed himself to the Blues for the foreseeable future.
Speaking in an interview with Chelsea FC’s website, Hudson-Odoi said: “It’s an amazing feeling.
“It’s been a long wait but it’s done now and I’m really happy about that. I’ve been a Chelsea player since I was eight and this is the right club for me to be at.
“I want to lift as many trophies as possible, win as many games as possible and contribute to as many goals as I can as well.
“As a team, we just want to work hard to achieve the best results we can. I’m delighted everything has been agreed and now I’m just looking forward to properly getting back.”
Hudson-Odoi is currently on the road to recovery from an Achilles injury and he will be hoping to be part of FranK Lampard’s plans as soon as he is fully fit again.
Meanwhile, Chelsea FC are currently preparing for their home Premier League clash against Liverpool FC at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
The Blues are aiming to make it back to back wins in the top flight for the first time this season after they were 5-2 winners at Wolves last time out.
