The 20-year-old has been a regular fixture in the first team at Stamford Bridge this term and he has been called up to the England squad for their Euro 2020 qualifiers.
Mount worked under Lampard at Derby County last season before the pair returned to the west London club in the summer.
The youngster has scored twice in four Premier League outings for the Blues so far this season and Mount has now revealed that he has been enjoying one-on-on sessions with Lampard after training at Cobham in recent weeks.
Speaking in an interview quoted by Sky Sports, Mount said: “After training we do some finishing sometimes,” he said. “I’m obviously talking to him every day, especially after the games – what I can do better, where I can make the runs and where I can get into the box.
“I’m always speaking to him and trying to learn things every day, mostly after training doing finishing.
“There is no better person to learn from than him.”
Mount will be hoping to feature for Chelsea FC when the Blues return to Premier League action after the international break with a trip to Wolves on Saturday 14 September.
The west London side are currently in 11th place in the Premier League table after having only taken five points from their opening four games in the top flight under their new manager.
They were pegged back from 2-0 up to be held to a 2-2 draw by Sheffield United last weekend.
