The USA international has been settling into life at Stamford Bridge after having signed for the Blues from Borussia Dortmund earlier this year and linking up with the London side in the summer.
Mount has been in superb form for Chelsea FC so far this season after having been drafted into the first team by new manager Frank Lampard at Stamford Bridge.
The 20-year-old has been a regular fixture in the starting line-up and will be hoping to hold down a regular spot as the season continues.
And Pulisic has insisted that he has been highly impressed by what he has seen from Mount so far this season.
Speaking in an interview with Chelsea FC’s website, Pulisic said: “He [Mount] is great, a really exciting young player.
“He comes with so much energy every day to training and you see him in games and his quality is showing and we are really happy with that.”
He continued: “Of course we have young players in our squad but that is no reason why we should not go after trophies. We are going to give it everything and push to win everything that we can.
“I am not sure what people think or what people say but we are a very exciting team with a ton of talent and if we continue to build this chemistry and build the way we are, I think it is going to go really well.
“We have learnt so much [under Frank Lampard]. He has been fantastic, he has so much knowledge of the game. He played at the highest level, he played here so he knows what it is all about so it has been great.
“My first game he told me I should go out and don’t be afraid to take on a shot, don’t be afraid to take a chance, go and do your thing, it is the reason you are here. Just to play with confidence and play the way that you have.”
Chelsea FC are now currently preparing for their EFL Cup third round clash against Grimsby Town on Wednesday night at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues will then switch their attentions back towards Premier League affairs and their home clash against Brighton next Saturday afternoon.
Chelsea FC are aiming to finish in the top four this season after they finished third and won the Europa League last term under Maurizio Sarri.
