Spanish media outlet Defensa Central, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that Chelsea FC have agreed to let Real Madrid know should the Blues receive any offers for Kante.
The same article states that the Blues have also agreed to let the Spanish giants know if the west London side decide to sell the World Cup winner in the future.
According to the same story, Chelsea FC are willing to work with Real Madrid due to their professional handling of Eden Hazard’s transfer in the summer transfer window.
The report goes on to add that Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with a potential swoop to sign the 28-year-old over the past couple of months.
Chelsea FC signed Kante in a £34m deal from Leicester in the 2016 summer transfer window after the French star helped the Foxes to win the Premier League title.
Kante became the first player to win the Premier League title in consecutive seasons with different clubs after Chelsea FC won the top-flight crown in 2016-17.
Chelsea FC have made a slow start to the current campaign under club legend Frank Lampard following a return of five points from four games.
