The Egypt international has been in stunning form for the Reds in recent months and he is widely regarded as one of the finest attacking players in world football.
As well as his goal-scoring form, Salah is also one of Liverpool FC’s leading assist-makers and he notched up another one in the Reds’ win at Burnley on Saturday.
And Carragher was quick to point out that Salah has already notched up two assists and scored three goals in four Premier League games this season after Saturday’s win.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Carragher said: “Out of the front three, it’s Salah who actually gets the most assists.
“He’s got one tonight – you might not class it as an assist, he’s trying to get a shot off – but today was his 100th goal involvement in terms of goals and assists since he’s come to Liverpool in 110 games. That’s unbelievable.
“He’s virtually scoring or creating a goal in every game that he plays but there is times when he should just make that extra little pass and show that little composure now and again.”
Salah will be expecting to feature for Liverpool FC when the Reds return to Premier League action after the international break with a home clash against Newcastle United.
The 27-year-old was named as the PFA player of the year last season following his brilliant performances for Jurgen Klopp’s men.
The Reds will have their sights firmly set on winning the Premier League title this season after finishing just a point behind Manchester City last term.
