The Brazilian is widely regarded as one of the Premier League’s finest attacking players and he has made a solid start to the season along with his team-mates.
The 27-year-old attacker has already scored two goals and made two assists in four Premier League games so far this term, including a goal and an assist in the 3-0 win at Burnley at the weekend.
Firmino is one of Liverpool FC’s famous attacking front three featuring Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah, and the form of the trio will be vital for sustaining a title challenge this season.
The Brazil international has started the season strongly and Klopp has admitted that he is hoping that Firmino continues in a similar vein.
Speaking to Liverpool FC’s website, Klopp said: “Hopefully it stays like this, [him] hardly missing a game! He missed a few and that was not too cool, but Bobby – what can I say about him that not everybody knows already?
“He’s an incredibly important player. He enjoys it so much to play in this team, to be really there with all these super guys around him.
“That’s what helps him then, of course: if you have the speed around you, you can be this little cheeky guy in between the lines, being there and scoring the goals. Yeah, he’s a very valuable player for us.”
Liverpool FC will return to Premier League action after the international break when they take on Newcastle United in front of their home fans on Saturday 14 September.
The Reds have won all four of their Premier League games this term to leave them leading the way at the top of the table, two points clear of Manchester City.
