The Champions League winner was linked with a potential move to La Liga giants Real Madrid during the summer transfer window.
Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is thought to be a big admirer of the Liverpool FC winger following his performances for the Anfield side over the past few seasons.
However, Mane remained at Liverpool FC beyond the summer transfer window to start his fourth season at the 18-time English champions under German head coach Jurgen Klopp.
The Liverpool FC winger has now reiterated that he is extremely happy at the six-time European champions.
“To be honest, I’m really happy to be a part of the club, the family here,” Mane told Complex, as quoted by Metro.
“We have the best fans in the world here, so I’m always so thankful for the support.
“It’s not just great for me too – it gives the whole squad more motivation to perform.
“It keeps us hungry to get better and better together… I really struggle to describe how happy I am to be here.”
Mane scored in Liverpool FC’s 3-0 victory over Burnley at Turf Moor in their last Premier League fixture before the international break.
However, the result wasn’t without controversy after Mane appeared to hit out at Mohamed Salah’s selfishness in an incident in the final three minutes.
Klopp was quick to state that the pair had quashed any differences in his post-match media conference, which will leave Liverpool FC fans relieved given the success of the Salah-Mane-Roberto Firmino strike partnership.
Liverpool FC will host Newcastle United in their next Premier League game at Anfield in Saturday’s early kick-off.
