Juventus want to sign David De Gea on a free transfer from Manchester United next summer, according to reports in the British media.

The Daily Express is reporting that the Serie A club are keen on a move to bring the shot-stopper to Italy as the speculation about his future continues.

De Gea’s current contract is set to expire at the end of the season, meaning that he could end up leaving Old Trafford for nothing if he does not commit to a new deal.

The goalkeeper will also be free to talk to European clubs from January if he opts not to sign a new deal with the club.

According to the same story, Manchester United have offered De Gea a new contract worth £350,000 a week, but the deal remains unsigned.

The same article claims that Juventus have made no secret of their desire to try and land De Gea, who is said to have been locked in contract talks with the Red Devils for more than a year.

It also says that Paris Saint-Germain have a long-term interest in De Gea, but Juventus are the current favourites to land him should he leave.
