Juventus are considering a sensational swoop to sign Manchester United trio David De Gea, Eric Bailly and Nemanja Matic next summer, according to a report in Italy.

Italian media outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, as quoted by the Daily Mirror, is reporting that the Serie A champions are interested in the Manchester United trio.

The same article states that Juventus are drawing up a shortlist of players who will be out of contract and available to target if they fail to commit to new deals.

According to the same story, Juve would be interested in De Gea, Bailly and Matic as Maurizio Sarri looks to stamp his authority on the Italian club following his appointment.

The same report goes on to state that Juventus are also keeping tabs on Manchester City’s veteran midfielder David Silva and Tottenham Hotspur playmaker Christian Eriksen.

The Daily Mirror reveal that De Gea has been offered a new deal at Manchester United but the Spanish shot-stopper is yet to put pen to paper on a new contract.

Manchester United have made an underwhelming start to the new season following a return of five points from their opening four games.

The Red Devils haven’t won the Premier League title since 2013.
