Michael Owen states his prediction for West Ham v Man United
Michael Owen is tipping West Ham to get at least a point against Man United on Sunday
Michael Owen is tipping West Ham United to get at least a point from their clash with Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Hammers are preparing to welcome the Red Devils to the London Stadium as they look to win their third Premier League game of the season under Manuel Pellegrini.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are gearing up for their trip to the capital as they bid to make it back to back wins in the Premier League for the first time this season under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Red Devils claimed a 1-0 win over Leicester City at Old Trafford last time out and they will be keen to string together a series of positive results as they bid to try and finish in the top four this term.
Manchester United have so far only managed to win two of their opening five games and former England striker Owen feels the Red Devils could struggle once again when they make the trip to east London.
Writing in his column for BetVictor, Owen said: “West Ham have lost just one of their last nine Premier League games after picking up a point at Villa Park on Monday from what was a disappointing goalless draw.
“There is likely to be more goalmouth action on Sunday when Manchester United visit the capital.
“United gained what was only their second win in their last 10 league games when they ground out a narrow win over Leicester at Old Trafford.
“Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have drawn on the road at both Wolves and Southampton so far this season and this will be another severe test of their top four credentials.
“If there is to be a winner at the London Stadium I believe it will be the Irons from what promises to be a hugely entertaining game.”
Manchester United are aiming to break back into the top four this season after they finished sixth in the table and without a trophy last term.
