The England Under-21 international has been in prolific form since Abraham opened his Chelsea FC account in a 3-2 win at Norwich City last month.
Abraham scored twice in a narrow win at Carrow Road before the Chelsea FC centre-forward netted two goals in a 2-2 draw with Sheffield United at Stamford Bridge before the international break.
The 21-year-old continued where he left off with two goals in the first half of Chelsea FC’s rout of Wolves in the Premier League on Saturday.
Former Spurs striker Lineker took to Twitter to praise Abraham for his impressive goal-scoring exploits in the Chelsea FC team this season.
Lineker wrote on Twitter: “Another of
@ChelseaFC’s under 21’s @tammyabraham has made it 3-0 with his 2nd goal.”
Fikayo Tomori broke the deadlock in the 31st minute before Abraham netted twice before half-time to secure a 3-0 win.
Mason Mount sealed three points with a late goal to secure a 5-2 win.
BT Sport pundit Lineker praised Chelsea FC for giving youth a chance to shine since Frank Lampard took over the reins.
Lineker added: “Absolutely superb goal from Tomori for
@ChelseaFC, another of Frank’s young stars.
“Interestingly, or otherwise, @ChelseaFC have already given more minutes to under 21 players in their opening few games of this season than in the entirety of any other season since 2005.”
Chelsea FC finished in third place in the Premier League table last term to secure a spot in the Champions League.
The Blues will start their Champions League campaign with a home clash against Valencia at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.
Chelsea FC haven’t won the title since 2017.
