Arsenal make key transfer decision about Mesut Ozil – report
Arsenal are ready to loan out Mesut Ozil in the January transfer window, according to a report
Arsenal want to loan out Mesut Ozil in the January transfer window and will offer to pay part of his wages to secure the German’s exit, according to a report in England.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that Arsenal are eager to usher Ozil to another club on loan rather than let the German midfielder sit on the bench at The Emirates.
The same article states that the Gunners are prepared to pay a portion of his £300,000-a-week wages to make the loan move happen in the next transfer window.
According to the same story, Unai Emery has struggled to find a way to accommodate the World Cup winner in his Arsenal side and the manager is prepared to let the 30-year-old go.
The Daily Mirror go on to reveal that Arsenal wanted to offload Ozil in the summer but Turkish outfit Fenerbache were the only club to shown an interest in the German star.
Arsenal finished in fifth place in the Premier League table last term as they missed out on a spot in the Champions League for the third successive campaign.
Emery signed six new players in the summer transfer window but the Gunners have still struggled with consistency in the current Premier League season.
