Arsenal are considering a move to sign Willy Boly from Wolves as Unai Emery looks to bolster his defensive options next year, according to reports in the British media.
The Sun is reporting that the Gunners are keeping a close eye on the 28-year-old defender after his strong start to the new season with Wolves.
The Frenchman played the full 90 minutes and helped Wolves to keep a clean sheet as they sealed a shock 2-0 win over Manchester City at The Etihad on Sunday afternoon.
Boly has scored one goal and made one assist in nine appearances in all competitions for Wolves so far this term.
According to the same story, Arsenal boss Unai Emery is looking at defensive options and potential signings after having landed David Luiz on deadline day in the summer.
The same article says that Arsenal are on the lookout for reinforcements at the back after they conceded 11 goals in all competitions this season.
And central defender Boly is said to be an option for the Gunners as the January transfer window draws nearer.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are up to third in the Premier League table after having sealed a 1-0 win over Bournemouth on Sunday thanks to David Luiz’s first-half goal.
