Daley Blind has admitted that he has been disappointed to see Manchester United’s struggles this season under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Red Devils have made a stuttering start to the new season and they currently find themselves down in 14th place in the Premier League table and just two points off the relegation zone.

Solskjaer’s side have only managed to win two of their opening nine Premier League games and the Norwegian coach is under pressure to deliver some results after a poor start to the campaign.

Manchester United will attempt to get back to winning ways in the Premier League when they take on Norwich City away from home on Sunday afternoon.

Before that, they have a Europa League clash against Partizan Belgrade on Thursday evening.

Blind played for Manchester United between 2014 and 2018 and the Dutch defender has admitted that he is not enjoying seeing the Red Devils struggle this season.

Speaking at a news conference before Ajax’s clash with Chelsea FC in the Champions League, Blind said: “Of course I’m not happy to see Man United and how they’re performing at the moment.

“I’m still a fan of United and it’s not nice to see.”

Manchester United were pegged back and held to a 1-1 draw by Liverpool FC at Old Trafford in their most recent Premier League outing on Sunday afternoon.

The Red Devils finished in sixth place and without a trophy under Solskjaer last season.
