Sky Sports is reporting that the Red Devils are keeping tabs on the 25-year-old German’s situation in Turin as they consider their targets for the January transfer window.
The midfielder spent four seasons at Anfield before he left the Merseyside outfit to sign for Juventus at the end of the 2017-18 campaign.
Can appears to have fallen out of favour under new boss Maurizio Sarri at the Turin club and Manchester United are being credited with an interest in the midfielder.
The midfielder is yet to start a game this season and he has been omitted from the club’s Champions League squad list.
The same story says that Juventus would be seeking a transfer fee of around £35m were they to move him on in the new year.
According to the article, Can is not one of Manchester United’s top targets, but they are monitoring his situation as they look to bolster their squad in January.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are currently preparing for their crunch showdown with arch rivals Liverpool FC at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.
