Mesut Ozil has urged Arsenal to keep moving forward after Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Wolves.

Arsenal boss Unai Emery started Ozil in the Premier League for the first time since September when the Gunners drew 2-2 with Watford.

The north London side were looking to return to ways following stalemates with Crystal Palace and Liverpool FC over the past week.

Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang broke the deadlock in the 21st minute when Alexandre Lacazette teed up his strike partner.

However, the Gunners squandered a lead for the third successive game when Wolves striker Raul Jimenez levelled with 20 minutes to go.

The north London side have lost more ground on the top four following their draw after winning two of their last six games.

German star Ozil took to Instagram to reflect on a disappointing result as well as issue a rallying cry ahead of their return to the Europa League.

Ozil wrote on Instagram: “Good to be back in @premierleague action, but not happy about the result at home.

“Many things to work on. We have to keep moving forward with our heads held high.”

Arsenal are in fifth place in the Premier League table after collecting 17 points from their opening 11 games.

The Gunners crashed out of the Carabao Cup fourth round on Wednesday night after squandered a 3-1 lead and a 4-2 lead against Liverpool FC to lose on penalties.

Arsenal haven’t won the Premier League title since 2004.
