Italian website Calciomercato, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Uruguay international is considering a move away from Arsenal next year.
Torreira has only started four Premier League games so far this season and he has struggled to hold down a regular spot in the first team at The Emirates.
According to the same story, Torreira is “aware” of interest from AC Milan and he wants Arsenal to consider offers for him in the January transfer window.
The same report states that AC Milan were linked with a move to sign Torreira all summer but the Uruguay midfielder ended up staying at The Emirates.
The midfielder has scored two goals in a total of 15 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal so far this season, but the Gunners have struggled to find consistent form under Unai Emery in recent weeks.
The north London side currently find themselves sixth in the Premier League table and eight points adrift of the top four after only having won four of their opening 12 games.
Arsenal will return to Premier League action after the international break with a home clash against Southampton.
