N’Golo Kante has insisted that he is happy at Chelsea FC and can see himself finishing his career at the west London club.

The France international is widely considered to be one of the finest holding midfielders in world football and he has been earning lots of praise for his performances in recent seasons.

Kante has endured something of a stop-start season this term under Frank Lampard due to a string of niggling injuries which have prevented him from having a regular run in the first team.

The 28-year-old has scored two goals in five Premier League games for Chelsea FC so far this season and he played the full 90 minutes as the Blues claimed a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace at the weekend.

Kante is under contract at Chelsea FC until the summer of 2023 and the midfielder has insisted that he is not thinking about a potential move away from Stamford Bridge.

Speaking in an interview with Telefoot, Kante said: “Of course [I could finish my career at Chelsea FC]. Today I am with Chelsea until 2023.

“So, in my head, I hope to continue to have great seasons with Chelsea.

“Today at Chelsea, I have had three wonderful years winning titles. I think that it is a club that has helped me a lot and I hope that I will be able to win a lot more titles here.”

Chelsea FC will return to Premier League action after the international break when the Blues take on Manchester City at The Etihad on Saturday 23 November.

The west London side currently find themselves in third place in the Premier League table and eight points behind leaders Liverpool FC.
