The Daily Express is reporting that the former Blues manager is considering a raid on the west London outfit to bring Giroud to the San Siro after his fall down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.
The same article states that Chelsea FC will allow the France international to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer if the Blues receive the right offer for Giroud.
According to the same story, Ligue 1 side Marseille are the favourites to sign the 33-year-old after l’OM first expressed an interested in a deal back in the summer.
The Daily Express go on to add that Inter Milan would be prepared to offer Giroud an 18-month contract if the France centre-forward decides to move to Italy.
The report goes on to add that Chelsea FC would demand a fee in the region of £6m for the veteran Premier League striker, who has only started one league game this season.
Giroud moved to Chelsea FC from Arsenal in the 2018 January transfer window when Conte was still in charge of the west London side.
Chelsea FC are in third place in the Premier League table and eight points adrift of leaders Liverpool FC heading into their trip to Manchester City after the international break.
