Lineker wrote on Twitter after the 3-1 result at Anfield: “Huge win for @LFC and an 8 point lead at the top of the Premier League table. The Fox hunt is on.”
Earlier in the game, Lineker had reiterated his belief: “Only Leicester can catch Liverpool now. 🤪”
Liverpool FC’s next fixture is against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday 23 November.
Manchester City will take on Chelsea FC at The Etihad later on the same day.
