Jamie Carragher took to social media to offer his reaction to Liverpool FC’s 2-1 win over Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The Reds headed into the game looking to continue their fine form this season, with Jurgen Klopp’s men having only dropped two points all season up until this weekend.

Liverpool FC raced into a 2-0 lead at Anfield against the Seagulls as defender Virgil van Dijk scored two headers inside the first 24 minutes on Merseyside.

However, there was late drama at Anfield as Liverpool FC goalkeeper Alisson was sent off for a blatant handball outside the area in the 76th minute.

Lewis Dunk then netted an equaliser with a quickly-taken free-kick in the 79th minute to set up a tense finale.

However, Liverpool FC held on to claim all three points and move 11 points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

Reds defender Carragher took to social media after the game to admit that it was a rollercoaster of a 90 minutes for him and other Liverpool FC fans.

Carragher wrote on Twitter after the game: “FFS!!! Can we have a nice relaxed last 20 mins at some stage this season please @LFC 🙏😂😂😂 #LIVBHA.”

Liverpool FC will return to Premier League action on Wednesday night when they host Everton in the Merseyside derby at Anfield in the Premier League.

They will then take on Bournemouth away from home next Saturday afternoon.
