Liverpool FC are in advanced talks to sign Ryan Fraser from Bournemouth in the January transfer window, according to reports in the British media.

talkSPORT is reporting that the Reds are keen to sign the winger in the new year as Jurgen Klopp considers bolstering his squad ahead of the second part of the season.

According to the same story, Liverpool FC are at the front of the queue to sign Fraser in the new year as the Premier League leaders look to add further depth to their squad.

The same story says that Bournemouth are keen to cash in on the 25-year-old in the new year rather than lose him for nothing at the end of the current campaign, when his contract expires.

Fraser has scored one goal and made two assists in 11 appearances for Bournemouth so far this season.

It remains to be seen whether Liverpool FC will be doing much transfer business in January, with the Reds having made a flying start to the new campaign.

Liverpool FC currently sit top of the Premier League table and eight points ahead of second-placed Leicester City in the wake of their 3-1 win over Manchester City at Anfield on Sunday.

The Reds will return to Premier League action with a trip to Crystal Palace after the international break.
