The Reds head into the game fresh from their 1-1 draw with Napoli in the Champions League at Anfield in midweek, as Jurgen Klopp’s men had to come from behind to seal a point.
Liverpool FC have been the team to beat in the Premier League so far this season, and Jurgen Klopp’s men are currently flying high at the top of the table.
Indeed, the Merseyside outfit have only dropped two points all season and they are currently eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
Liverpool FC are preparing to welcome Brighton to Anfield this weekend – and former Reds striker Owen cannot see past a comfortable home win for Klopp’s side.
Writing in his column for BetVictor, Owen said: “Liverpool marched on at the top of the table at Palace on Saturday and 12 wins from their opening 13 Premier League games and an unbeaten league run of 30 games shows just how consistent, resilient and, at times, brilliant the Champions League holders have been over the last couple of seasons.
“Brighton were readily brushed aside by a progressive Leicester City side at the weekend highlighted by the fact that the Seagulls did not have a single shot on target. It is hard to see past another three points for the Reds.”
Klopp’s men will then host Everton in the Merseyside derby at Anfield in the Premier League on Wednesday night, before a trip to Bournemouth the following weekend.
Liverpool FC are aiming to go one step further than they did in the Premier League last season and win it this term.
The Reds ended up just a single point behind Manchester City last term.
