The England international had scored six times in his last seven games before the visit of Brighton despite Manchester United’s inconsistent Premier League form.

Former Manchester United striker Saha was impressed with Rashford’s energetic performance at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

Rashford has netted six times in 12 games in the Premier League this season to carry the Manchester United team’s biggest threat up front.
Manchester United are short on options up front after the 20-time English champions opted to sell Romelu Lukaku to Serie A giants Inter Milan.
Alexis Sanchez was also sent out on loan to Inter Milan to leave Solskjaer with just Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood up front.
Manchester United are in seventh position in the Premier League table and 10 points adrift of Leicester City and Chelsea FC in the top-four race.
The Red Devils have won four of their 12 games in the Premier League so far this term.
Solskjaer’s side will return to Premier League action with a trip to fifth-placed Sheffield United on Sunday 24 November.
