Gary Neville didn’t hold back in his assessment of Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Daniel James’ performances in Manchester United’s 3-3 draw at Sheffield United on Sunday afternoon.

The Red Devils fought back from 2-0 down to lead 3-2 at Bramall Lane before Manchester United conceded an added-time equaliser to squander two points against the promoted side.

Manchester United made a poor start to the Premier League clash after goals from John Fleck and Lys Mousset gave Sheffield United a commanding lead in the Premier League clash.

Chris Wilder’s side looked to be coasting to victory as Manchester United’s attackers struggled to have any impact on the game.

However, 19-year-old Brandon Williams halved the deficit in the 72nd minute before substitute Mason Greenwood levelled five minutes later to restore parity.

Rashford managed to score what looked like the winner in the 79th minute before the 20-time English champions conceded an equaliser on the stroke of full-time.

Manchester United’s trio of attackers – James, Martial and Rashford – managed 133 touches between them at Sheffield United in what was a relatively muted display.

Former Manchester United defender Neville was quick to slam their collective performance.

“The lack of movement from [Marcus] Rashford, [Anthony] Martial and [Daniel] James is a joke,” Neville told Sky Sports.

“All game. Nothing at all from them. United’s midfield is poor but you expect better from the front three.”

Manchester United are in ninth position and nine points behind fourth-placed Chelsea FC in the race to secure a Champions League spot.
