The Sun, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that Pogba is closing in on a return to action for the Red Devils after having been out injured for the best part of two months.
Pogba had a protective cast removed from his ankle in recent days and the French World Cup winner is now said to be finally closing in on a comeback for the Red Devils.
The midfielder’s quality has been sorely missed by Manchester United, who have struggled to find consistent form this season.
The same story says that Pogba has only recently started running again in training and that Manchester United expect to have him back in contention in about nine days.
Pogba has not featured for Manchester United since he played the full 90 minutes in the 1-1 draw with Arsenal at the end of September.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are currently preparing for their Europa League clash against FC Astana on Thursday night.
The Red Devils are aiming to get back to winning ways after they were held to a 3-3 draw by Sheffield United last weekend.
