ESPN FC go on to add that Dzeko has moved ahead of Mario Mandzukic in Solskjaer’s wish-list due to the Croatian’s lack of football this term.
The report adds that Manchester United have retained a tentative interest in the Juventus forward despite being frozen out in Turin this season.
Manchester United have been left short on forward options in Solskjaer’s squad after Romelu Lukaku was sold to Inter Milan in the summer.
