Manchester United are set to sign at least one player in the January transfer window after agreeing personal terms with the unnamed target, according to a report in England.

Metro is reporting that Manchester United are hoping to bolster Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad in the summer after failing to sign a striker in the summer.

The same article states that the Red Devils are determined to improve Solskjaer’s playing resources for the second half of the Premier League season.

According to the same story, Manchester United have already reached an agreement with a January target ahead of a potential move in the next transfer window.

Manchester United suffered a 1-0 loss to Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium last weekend after Joshua King netted a first-half winner on the south coast.

The Red Devils have only managed to win three of their 11 Premier League games so far this season to leave Manchester United a mere five points about the relegation zone.

Manchester United signed Swansea City winger Daniel James, Leicester City defender Harry Maguire and Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the summer transfer window.

Solskjaer’s side will return to Europa League action on Thursday night against Partizan Belgrade.

The Red Devils were 1-0 winners against the Serbian side in Belgrade last month.
