Tottenham Hotspur are lining up a potential offer to sign Schalke 04 goalkeeper Alexander Nubel, according to a report in England.
talkSPORT is reporting that Spurs have earmarked the 23-year-old as a potential long-term replacement for Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris.
The same article states that Nubel has less than 12 months left to run on his current deal with the Bundesliga club to leave his future at Schalke 04 in doubt.

talkSPORT go on to add that the north London outfit are planning to keep a close eye on Nubel ahead of a potential transfer swoop in the future.
The report goes on to add that the Schalke 04 captain has earned favourable comparisons to Bayern Munich and Germany legend Manuel Neuer.
Schalke 04 manager David Wagner, who previously managed Huddersfield Town in the Premier League, made Nugel his club captain at the start of the 2019-20 Bundesliga season.
Nugel has made 36 appearances in all competitions since breaking into the Schalke 04 team in the 2018-19 season.
Tottenham currently have Lloris and Paulo Gazzaniga as their two chief goalkeepers in Mourinho’s squad.
