And Pulisic netted his fourth goal in two games to give the west London outfit a 2-0 lead against their London rivals in 55th minute.
Gerard Deulofeu halved the deficit from the penalty spot but Chelsea FC held on to secure three points.
Match Of The Day host Lineker was impressed with Chelsea FC’s performance.
Lineker posted on social media: “Chelsea are looking very good. Playing some mouth-watering football.”
Chelsea FC moved to within two points of second-placed Manchester City thanks to their 2-1 victory over Watford.
The Blues have a six-point cushion over fifth-placed Arsenal after the Gunners drew 1-1 with Wolves at The Emirates on Saturday.
Frank Lampard’s side will return to Champions League action with a home clash against Ajax at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.
