Sky Sports pundit states his prediction for Bournemouth v Liverpool FC
Charlie Nicholas looks ahead to Liverpool FC's trip to Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon
Charlie Nicholas is backing Liverpool FC to continue their march towards the Premier League title by claiming a 3-0 win away at Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.
The Reds head into the game fresh from their 5-2 victory over derby rivals Everton on Wednesday night, and Jurgen Klopp’s men are currently eight points clear at the top of the table.
Liverpool FC have barely put a foot wrong this season, with the Reds having only dropped points during a 1-1 draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford so far.
Bournemouth are 14th in the table and looking to end a miserable run of form, with Eddie Howe’s side having lost their last four games on the bounce in the Premier League.
However, former Arsenal star Nicholas is fully expecting to see Liverpool FC claim a comfortable victory over Bournemouth in the Premier League at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday.
Writing in his column for Sky Sports, Nicholas said: “Everything Jurgen Klopp touches turns to gold.
“I thought he would rest players for this game but, no, he rested Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Jordan Henderson in the Merseyside derby, and he was vindicated.
“Bournemouth, meanwhile, are in free fall and lacking confidence. They are trying to be more solid defensively, but that is hampering them going forward.
“It’s a dangerous combination for Eddie Howe’s side.”
Liverpool FC are aiming to win the Premier League title this season after having finished a point behind champions Manchester City last term.
They will travel to RB Salzburg in the Champions League on Tuesday night, before a home clash against Watford in the Premier League next weekend.
