Eden Hazard has promised to return to Chelsea FC one day when his stint at Real Madrid comes to an end.

The 28-year-old Belgium international has been settling into life at Real Madrid after his big-money move to the Bernabeu from the Stamford Bridge outfit in the summer.

Hazard is widely considered to be one of European football’s most talented attacking players and the Blues would likely be delighted to welcome him back to Stamford Bridge one day.

The playmaker was filmed talking to a Chelsea FC fan in a video posted on social media, and the Belgian appeared to hint that he would be open to a return to the west London club.

“When I finish here I’ll come back,” Hazard replied to a fan who said that Chelsea fans wanted him back at the club.

Asked if he still watches the Blues, he added: “Yeah, when I can I watch. Not all the time.

“They are doing well, they’re young. Now they can pay for players, they can buy players now.

“I do my job here and then I come back.”

The 28-year-old Hazard has struggled to find consistent form in La Liga since his move to Real Madrid, with the playmaker having only managed one goal and one assist in eight La Liga games for Los Blancos.

Chelsea FC, meanwhile, are currently preparing for their trip to Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon as they look to bounce back from the disappointment of their 1-0 loss to Bournemouth on Saturday.
