Chelsea FC are to sit down and discuss Willian's future at Stamford Bridge, according to a report
Chelsea FC are planning to hold further talks with Willian about his Stamford Bridge future, according to a report in England.
The Daily Telegraph is reporting that the Blues are “adamant” the Brazil international has been offered a new contract to secure his future at the west London side, despite the player’s claims to the contrary.
The same article states that Willian is maintaining that a new deal isn’t on the table despite Chelsea FC’s insistence that they’ve offered him the chance to put pen to paper.
According to the same story, the Stamford Bridge outfit believe that Willian’s future is his own hands after their contract offer despite the confusion surrounding the negotiation process.
The Daily Telegraph go on to add that Chelsea FC are unlikely to approach Willian with new terms because they believe an offer has already been presented to the South American winger.
The report says that Willian is eager to secure a two-year contract to extend his stay until 2022.
Willian has scored two goals and has made three assists in 13 games in the Premier League so far this season.
The South American forward has been a key part of the Chelsea FC team over the past six-and-a-half seasons.
Willian has won two Premier League titles, the Europa League, the FA Cup and the League Cup during his stint at the west London side.
