‘He’s one of the best’: Jose Mourinho sends message to Liverpool FC boss Jurgen Klopp
Spurs boss Jose Mourinho discusses Jurgen Klopp's new contract with Liverpool FC

Jose Mourinho has congratulated Jurgen Klopp on his new contract with Liverpool FC.
The German head coach last week put pen to paper on a new deal with the Merseyside outfit to keep him at Anfield until the summer of 2024.
The deal means that Klopp will be extending his stay at Anfield well into the next decade as the Reds continue to go from strength to strength under the 52-year-old.
Klopp’s Liverpool FC side are currently flying high at the top of the Premier League table, with the German having transformed the Reds into the team to beat in the top flight this season.
The new contract comes after Klopp led the Reds to their first major trophy since his appointment in 2015 last season with their Champions League final win over Spurs back in June.
And his Premier League rival Mourinho has offered his congratulations to Klopp after news of his new deal broke on Friday.
Asked about Klopp’s new deal, Mourinho said: “I think it means that they are all happy.
“Jurgen is happy because if he’s not he doesn’t sign. And they are happy because if they are not happy they don’t give him a new contract.
“But obviously I think great news for the Liverpool fans because they love him, for the players, because it looks clear that they like each other and the relation is very good.
“And good news for the Premier League because we want to have the best players, the best coaches and he’s one of the best. It is positive news for everyone.”
Mourinho is currently preparing his Tottenham Hotspur side for their trip to Wolves in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Liverpool FC, meanwhile, are gearing up for their League Cup quarter-final clash away to Aston Villa on Tuesday night.
