Rashford has been in good form for Manchester United so far this season and has been a regular fixture in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s starting line-up.
The 22-year-old has started all of the Red Devils’ Premier League games this season and he had scored seven goals and made four assists before Sunday’s clash with Aston Villa.
James has been settling into life at Old Trafford after having signed for the Red Devils from Swansea City in the summer transfer window.
The Wales international had made three assists for Rashford in the Red Devils’ five Premier League games before Sunday’s clash with Villa.
And James has now explained why he enjoys lining up with Rashford in a Manchester United shirt so much.
Speaking in an interview with Manchester United’s website before Sunday’s game, James said: “Yeah, Marcus is obviously a great player to play with.
“The abilities he has are fantastic and he’s getting better every game.
“Something we work on in training is the movement and things like that and obviously, for me, getting out wide and [in] those positions I want to find him as much as I can, to get him goals and for him to assist me as well.
“That’s something we talk about every day, to improve each other’s game.”
Next up for Manchester United is a crunch clash against top-four rivals Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night, as the Red Devils prepare to welcome Jose Mourinho back to the Old Trafford dugout for the first time since his sacking around a year ago.
