Michael Owen reveals his prediction for Wolves v Tottenham
Michael Owen looks ahead to Tottenham's trip to Wolves in the Premier League on Sunday
Michael Owen is backing Wolves to hold Tottenham to a draw in their Premier League clash on Sunday afternoon.
The Lilywhites head into the game looking to try and bounce back from the disappointment of their 3-1 defeat by Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Spurs have been in decent form since Jose Mourinho was appointed as Mauricio Pochettino’s successor, and the Lilywhites were 5-0 winners over Burnley in their most recent Premier League outing.
Their only defeat in the Premier League since Mourinho took over was the 2-1 loss to Manchester United at Old Trafford at the start of December.
Tottenham are now preparing to travel to Molineux as they look to claim another three Premier League points on Sunday afternoon.
However, with Wolves sixth in the table and a point ahead of Spurs as things stand, former Manchester United and Liverpool FC striker Owen is tipping the hosts to claim a point from the game.
Writing in his column for BetVictor, Owen said: “Two in-form sides go head-to-head at Molineux.
“Wolves are unbeaten in their last 11 league games while Spurs bounced back from their Old Trafford reverse to thrash Burnley at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at the weekend.
“There is only a point between the sides in the table and I am finding it difficult to split the sides at the weekend.”
Tottenham Hotspur are currently in seventh place in the Premier League table as they look to try and climb back into the top four.
The north London side finished in fourth place in the Premier League table under Pochettino last term.
