Aaron Ramsey wants Arsenal to repeat Dortmund heroics
Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is hoping for a repeat of their heroics at Dortmund last season when the sides meet on Tuesday
Aaron Ramsey scored the winner at Borussia Dortmund last season, and the Arsenal midfielder wants the Gunners to replicate that performance on Tuesday night.
Arsene Wenger’s side start their Champions League group-stage with a tricky clash against 2013 finalists Dortmund at Westfalenstadion.
Wales international Ramsey scored a second-half winner as Arsenal beat Dortmund in Germany last season after Jurgen Klopp’s side won at The Emirates earlier in the group stage.
And the 24-year-old midfielder, who has already scored two Premier League goals this season, is eyeing another famous win against the Bundesliga outfit.

Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny added that Arsenal will take confidence from their victory in Dortmund last November.
“It was a very good game,” Szczesny said.
“We know how good the Dortmund team is and we came and got a very good result. We kept a clean sheet as well which was nice. So hopefully we’ll keep the same attitude and we’ll be looking to repeat that result.”
