Emmanuel Adebayor and Lewis Holtby both tweet their thoughts as Tottenham seal a convincing victory at Aston Villa

Tottenham moved up to fifth place in the Premier League table thanks to a 2-0 win at Aston Villa on Sunday.

The in-form Andros Townsend put Spurs ahead in the 31st minute at Villa Park when his cross found the back of the net.

And Roberto Soldado wrapped up the win in the 69th minute to move the north Londoners to within three points of early pace-setters Arsenal.

The only Premier League game of the day prompted a flurry of activity on Twitter, and here are our favourite updates, in chronological order.
