Alex Iwobi: Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is like a friend
Arsenal midfielder Alex Iwobi gives an insight into his relationship with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger

Alex Iwobi has described Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger as a father figure in his career.
The Nigeria international has established himself as a key player in the Arsenal first-team over the past 18 months or so.
Iwobi made his debut in 3-0 win against Swansea City back in November 2015 before going on to rack up two goals in 21 appearances in all competitions.
The Gunners boss has been coming under criticism this season following their 10-2 aggregate loss to Bundesliga holders Bayern Munich in Champions League.
Wenger has yet to confirm whether he will sign a two-year contract extension amid growing unrest amongst Arsenal supporters.
Arsenal midfielder Iwobi has leapt to the defence of the French coach, hailing Wenger as a friend.
“He’s not a huge talker, but when he does talk to you he’s like a good friend. He’s almost like my dad talking to me,” Iwobi told The Daily Mail.
“He has so much knowledge, and when he does speak to me, it’s just words of wisdom, telling me what I need to work on.”
