Journalist offers latest update on Alexis Sanchez’s Arsenal future
Arsenal are yet to receive an official bid for Alexis Sanchez this summer, according to one journalist

Arsenal are yet to receive a formal offer for Alexis Sanchez this summer, according to BBC reporter David Ornstein.
Ornstein has taken to Twitter to claim that the north London side have still not had any bids for the 28-year-old Chile international, despite reports linking him with the likes of Manchester City and Bayern Munich.
Sanchez’s future has been a relentless source of speculation this summer because he is approaching the final 12 months of his contract at The Emirates.
Should the player officially express his desire to leave The Emirates this summer, Arsenal would be likely to want to cash in this summer rather than risk losing him on a free transfer next year.
However, BBC journalist Ornstein says the Gunners are yet to receive any official bids for the forward, and that Arsenal boss Wenger is planning to have him in the team next season.
Ornstein wrote on Twitter: “Worth pointing out that as things stand Arsenal still yet to receive any offers for Sanchez, Wenger planning with him in the team #AFC #MCFC.”
Sanchez has developed into one of the Premier League’s top attackers since joining Arsenal from Barcelona back in 2014.
Arsenal will not play in the Champions League next season after the Gunners finished fifth in the Premier League table last term.
