Andre Schurrle impressed by Chelsea’s new signings
Andre Schürrle heaps praise on Chelsea's new signings after Blues seal 3-1 victory at Burnley on Monday

Andre Schurrle admits that he was impressed by the performances of Chelsea’s new signings in Monday’s 3-1 win at Burnley.
Diego Costa scored his first Premier League strike to equalise for the Blues, while Cesc Fabregas had a hand in all three goals as Jose Mourinho’s men sealed a convincing victory at Turf Moor.
And Schurrle, who scored Chelsea’s second goal after being set up by Fabregas, was full of praise for the Blues’ new-boys.
“They [the new signings] all played very well,” said Schurrle. “Diego scored his first goal which was very important for him.
“We saw with Cesc he always wants the ball, he likes to produce passes, like he did for me with the goal.
“Didier [Drogba] came on, you could see how much the fans love him and he almost scored.”
Despite the solid manner of the victory, Schurrle insists that there is plenty of room for improvement from the west Londoners.
“In the first half we had a lot of chances and we could have scored more, but for me it was good with my goal and I’m happy we won,” he added.
“We have a lot of work to do, we can play better. We played well but there’s always room for improvement.”
