Andy Murray appeared to voice his support for Scottish independence on Thursday morning

Andy Murray has appeared to voice his support for Scottish independence on Thursday morning after previously keeping quiet about the situation.
The 27-year-old had not been drawn on the issue before but had hinted that he is backing the Yes campaign via an update on his Twitter account.
Huge day for Scotland today! no campaign negativity last few days totally swayed my view on it. excited to see the outcome. lets do this!

The Olympic gold medallist has over 2.7m followers on Twitter previously described himself as “proud” to be both British and Scottish.
Murray told the Times magazine earlier this year: “I don’t think you should judge the thing on emotion, but on what is best economically for Scotland.
“You don’t want to come to a snap decision and then see the country go tits up.
“I am proud to be Scottish, but I am also proud to be British. I don’t think there is any contradiction in that.”
