Midfielder issues warning to Man United about Antoine Griezmann
Saul Niguez is backing Manchester United target Antoine Griezmann to remain at Atletico Madrid

Saul Niguez has warned Manchester United and Antoine Griezmann’s other suitors that the striker is happy at Atletico Madrid.
The Independent claimed at the weekend that Manchester United officials are confident a deal has been agreed in principle with Griezmann, although finalising the transfer is still some way off.
Griezmann has regularly proven himself to be one of the top goal-scorers in European competitions over the past couple of seasons, which has naturally attracted interest from the Premier League.
Indeed, the 26-year-old striker has scored 14 goals and has made seven assists in 27 games in La Liga in the 2016-17 season to help Diego Simeone’s men keep on track for a Champions League spot.
Speaking to the media about Griezmann’s future at Atletico amid talk of a move to Manchester United, Niguez made a confident prediction about the France international’s plans for next season.
“Will Griezmann be here next year? We do not know that. Neither you nor me,” Niguez is quoted as saying by Goal.com.
“But every time he talks, he always shows his appreciation to the club, he is happy, he is happy with the players, his life in Madrid is very beautiful, and he is very happy. I think he’s happy.
“If it were up to me, Griezmann would be with me next year!”
