Antonio Conte wants Chelsea to sign seven players in the summer transfer window, according to reports in the English media.
Yahoo! Sport is reporting that the Blues manager wants to make some major additions to his Chelsea squad ahead of the 2017-18 season.
Monaco star Tiemoue Bakayoko remains a priority as Conte looks to bolster his defensive midfielder options and provide N’Golo Kante with a long-term partner.
The same article states that the Italian coach would like a world-class midfielder and one power centre-half to strengthen the spine of his Chelsea side.
According to Yahoo! Sport, a right-back and a winger are also positions that the former Juventus boss would like to add to the Premier League champions this summer.
If Conte has his way, two central strikers would complete the west London side’s transfer activity ahead of their return to the Champions League next term.
Chelsea won the Premier League title in their first season under Conte’s management after the Italian coach was appointed as Guus Hiddink’s successor in May 2016.
However, Conte’s side came unstuck in the FA Cup final after a 2-1 loss to bitter rivals Arsenal at Wembley.
