Bacary Sagna believes that there is plenty more to come from Olivier Giroud following the Arsenal striker’s fine start to the season.
Giroud, 27, has scored five goals in all competitions for the Gunners so far this term and has also notched up two assists for the north London side.
The French striker has won plenty of new admirers in recent weeks as he looks to push on during his second campaign in England after his switch from Montpellier last summer.
And Sagna is backing his fellow countryman to continue to improve in the coming weeks and months.
“He is always questioning himself,” said Sagna. “He knows what he did well and what he did wrong. He tries to work on it during training sessions and tries to communicate with the boss.
“He is a very good player, good physically in front of the goal and finishes well. We need to give him time and I think he will improve even more, and be more decisive.
“Even with his English, he improved a lot and that makes a big difference.”
