Arsenal can’t win ugly and lack leaders, claims Patrick Vieira
Former Arsenal skipper Patrick Vieira says the Gunners are incapable of winning ugly and lack leaders

Patrick Vieira believes Arsenal are incapable of winning ugly ahead of the Gunners clash against Manchester City on Saturday.
Arsene Wenger’s men are currently five points clear at the top of the Premier League and a further six points ahead of fourth-placed Manchester City.
Sometimes you need to win games playing badly, and I don’t think Arsenal are capable of that

The Gunners have only suffered two defeats in the English top flight this season – a 3-1 loss to Aston Villa on the opening day before a 1-0 loss to Manchester United last month.
And former Arsenal midfielder Vieira, who is currently the manager of City’s elite development squad, believes the Gunners can’t find a way to win ugly at the moment.
“When you look at Arsenal, they play fantastic football,” Vieira said ahead of Saturday’s clash at The Etihad.
“But sometimes you need to win games playing badly, and I don’t think Arsenal are capable of that at the moment.
“Maybe there is a lack of leadership – they don’t have a Tony Adams, Martin Keown or Sol Campbell. These are players who can be leaders on or off the field.”
