Arsenal, Chelsea ponder January transfer move for Premier League star – report
Arsenal and Chelsea are both interested in signing Burnley centre-half James Tarkowski, say reports

Arsenal and Chelsea are keeping tabs on Burnley centre-half James Tarkowski with a view to a possible January transfer move, according to reports in the British media.
The Daily Star is reporting that Arsenal have singled out Tarkowski as a possible target for the January transfer window and Chelsea have also been keeping tabs on the defender.
The same report says that Arsenal are hoping to strengthen their defensive options in the January transfer window.
The story says that Arsenal are also interested in Chelsea defender David Luiz, while the Blues themselves are keen on a move for Southampton star Virgil van Dijk.
However, the story claims that the 25-year-old Tarkowski is seen as a possible January transfer target by both London clubs.
Arsenal and Chelsea are both bound to be linked with a host of players in the coming weeks and days as the January transfer window draws nearer.
The Gunners are looking to break back into the top four this season after missing out last term and having to settle for a Europa League spot.
Chelsea, meanwhile, are looking to bolster their squad to try and salvage hope of defending their title this term.
