Arsenal hand Kieran Gibbs No3 shirt after Bacary Sagna exit
Arsenal left-back Kieran Gibbs will wear the number three shirt next season, succeeding Bacary Sagna

Kieran Gibbs has been handed Arsenal’s number three shirt for the new season after Bacary Sagna’s summer exit.
Highlighting Arsene Wenger’s growing faith in the England left-back, Gibbs follows in the foot-steps of the respected France international, Gunners legend Nigel Winterburn and Ashley Cole.
The 24-year-old, who previously wore No28, has emerged as a first-team regular over the past two season, racking up 75 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners.
Gibbs’s predecessor in the No3 shirt, Sagna, agreed to join Premier League champions Manchester City after his Arsenal contract expired at the end of the season.

Kieran Gibbs wearing the number 3 in training as we thought. Sagna leaving means we can finally have traditional numbers at full back!
