Arsenal’s Kieran Gibbs sings Aaron Ramsey’s praises

Kieran Gibbs has heaped praise on Aaron Ramsey following the Arsenal midfielder’s impressive start to the new season.

Ramsey continued his stunning form in front of goal when he netted the opener in Sunday’s 3-1 victory over Stoke City at Emirates Stadium.

The Wales international has now scored seven goals in all competitions for the north London side and his impressive return has coincided with a string of top displays in recent months.

And Gibbs was full of praise for the 22-year-old, who finally seems to be hitting top gear again following his horror leg break at Stoke City back in February 2010.

“He [Ramsey] has a golden boot at the moment. He’s always been that kind of player and we knew he had the qualities,” Gibbs said.

“It’s strange because when you look at his play over the last couple of seasons, he’s always been that little bit off from scoring.

“It’s like his luck has changed. He’s always had the quality and now he’s become a world-class player.

“We always knew he had it in him. He’s showing that this year. He’s becoming a vital member of the squad.”
