Dani Ceballos sends message to Arsenal supporters about his future
Arsenal star Dani Ceballos says that he is happy at the north London side
Dani Ceballos has reiterated that he’s happy at Arsenal.
The Spanish midfielder moved to Arsenal on a season-long loan from La Liga giants Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.
Ceballos has been an instant hit with the Gunners supporters thanks to his exciting style of play in the middle of the park.
The 23-year-old has made two assists in seven appearances in the Premier League so far this season, including a man of the match display in a 2-1 win over Burnley back in August.
Ceballos moved to Arsenal to secure regular first-team football after struggling to get consistent minutes at Spanish giants Real Madrid.
The Arsenal loan star has expressed his delight that he opted to move to the Gunners to improve his chances of selection for the Spain national team.
“I don’t feel sorry for not being there [Madrid],” Ceballos told a news conference in Spain on Tuesday.
“I know what I have in my head and that was to play and enjoy playing.
“I am very happy in Arsenal, I played 10 games where I showed my best level. Now I am where I want to be.”
Ceballos’ performances for Arsenal earned him a call-up to the Spain national team for their Euro 2020 qualifiers this week.
The Gunners were 1-0 winners against Bournemouth in the Premier League last weekend to continue their unbeaten run.
Arsenal are in third place in the Premier League table and a point adrift of second-placed Manchester City.
The Gunners haven’t won the Premier League title since 2003-04 when Arsene Wenger was still in charge.
